The Colossian Hymn

This is our first lesson in our Who is Jesus? Sunday School class. While we are taking some information and influence from Greg Gilbert's book - this session was developed from Pastor Brian's previous study in the book of Colossians. In Colossians, Paul confronts the church to correct their insufficient theology of Jesus. He teaches them who Jesus is, what he has done, and how it shapes how they ought to live their lives. In this lesson, we look at Colossians 1:15-20. This is an early hymn about Christ teaching us who he is, and what he has done.
