The Lord promises to give the people riches, glory and peace. He promises to give the people everything they need to rebuild the temple. However, there is a more important message in verse 9. The temple's latter glory will outshine that of Solomon's temple. That glory is Jesus. Jesus is God who dwelt among his people.
